       Wojciech Giernacki was born in Jarocin (Poland) in 1982. He received the M.Sc. degree in control engineering and robotics from the Poznan University of Technology in 2006 and Ph.D. degree in 2011. Since 2011, he is an assistant professor at the Institute of Control, Robotics and Information Engineering of the same university. He founded and heads the PUT AeroLab and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Research Group (http://uav.put.poznan.pl/). He is an author or co-author of more than 60 publications in peer-reviewed international conferences, articles in impacted journals and 1 book. His scientific interests are focused around the issues of UAVs, especially robust and adaptive control, optimal tuning techniques, as well as data fusion from sensors.
